September 2025: BSG Completes Another Successful Executive Search—Plant Manager, Photonis
BSG proudly announces a recently completed executive placement—Rolf Fischer as Plant Manager of Photonis.
Rolf brings more than two decades of global leadership in manufacturing, supply chain, and operations. Before joining Photonis in 2025, he served as Senior Manager of Manufacturing at Hologic, where he led a 60-person team driving cross-training, lean transformation, and full FDA compliance for complex surgical and diagnostic systems.
Earlier in his career, Rolf spent over 15 years with Mettler Toledo in both the U.S. and Switzerland, holding leadership roles in Strategic Business Development and Operations & Logistics. At Mettler Toledo, he spearheaded more than 100 lean initiatives that boosted productivity by 38%, reduced costs through insourcing and supply chain strategies, successfully implemented SAP across manufacturing and logistics, and led teams through significant growth and operational transformation.
Throughout his career, Rolf has been recognized for his ability to align operations with financial and business strategy, build resilient high-performing teams, and lead organizational transformation across global manufacturing environments. Rolf holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from KLZ and SFB in Switzerland and is certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
