Ido Singer is a Principal and leadership advisor who helps investors, their CEOs & management de risk leadership decisions and build teams that can win in demanding, PE backed environments.
Before focusing on leadership advisory, Ido spent two and a half years in the Strategy Practice at Charles Aris Executive Search, recruiting top tier talent for private equity firms and their portfolio companies. He led searches across corporate strategy, portfolio value creation, and key general management roles, quickly becoming a high performer and President’s Club honoree in his first full calendar year. That work sharpened his ability to map markets, pressure test track records, and align stakeholders around what great actually looks like for a given role.
Beneath that execution sits an earlier chapter: nearly twenty years as a player and coach in high performance basketball, including coaching Division I women’s basketball at UNC Greensboro.
Today, Ido brings that same coach’s mindset to leadership hiring and development. He helps clients clarify the “roster design” of their organizations, assess the quality and chemistry of existing teams, and recruit leaders who can both deliver the plan and elevate the culture.
Born and raised in Israel and now based in Greensboro, NC, with his wife and three kids, Ido works with private equity firms, portfolio company CEOs, and senior executives navigating pivotal career moves. He believes that, whether on the court or in the boardroom, the right person in the right role, at the right time, changes everything.
We believe that the globe of talent is comprised of two hemispheres – optimizers and builders. Each is critical for different stages of company growth and development.
BSG's focus is on the builders.
