The role gives an energetic and experienced business development professional in the mobile phone business an opportunity to join an industry leader in a relatively new, high growth and disruptive space and reports directly to the President & COO.
The ideal candidate will source national tier-one mobile industry players, including tier 1 wireless carriers, MVNO’s, VAR’s, OEMs and other potential partners for trade-in partnerships with the Company. This is a strong hunter role and any account management responsibilities will be kept at a minimum using leveraged resources wherever possible.

FUNCTIONAL:
The Company is seeking a seasoned and accomplished business development executive with an unusual combination of skills. However, there is no question that the most critical skill is a proven ability to source, develop, close and make successful partners in the mobile and consumer electronics ecosystem. The VP Business Development will have a passion for and experience working with customers and colleagues to drive opportunities to closure, working with multiple internal champions, and influencers, identifying potential enterprise veto votes and derailers, and successfully navigating through to the finish line via a complex, often lengthy, and opaque landscape.

EDUCATION:
Undergraduate degree required, with preference for marketing, economics, or other similar, with MBA or other Masters or advanced degree in related area a plus.

Compensation is competitive with the position’s requirements. In a performance-based environment, this will include base salary, bonus structure based on corporate qualitative and quantitative business development targets, and a stakeholder position in the company.
