RuleStream Corp., a software company that automates the build-to-order
process across engineering, manufacturing and sales, said
it has named Gary Kuba vice president of marketing.
Kuba joins RuleStream from Tecnomatix Technologies Ltd.,
where he served as vice president of marketing. Prior to Tecnomatix,
Kuba acted as vice president of marketing at MatrixOne. He
has also managed various aspects of sales and marketing activities
at Compaq Computer Corp. and Digital Equipment Corp.
The company's software enables manufacturers to automate
each step of the product development cycle, from conceptual
design through manufacturing, including field and in-house
sales.
The company currently serves industries such as transportation,
aerospace, electrical and mechanical equipment, energy and
other industrial products. Customers include Babcock &
Wilcox, New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Lockheed Martin, Sharon
Stairs, Floway Pumps, NASA, General Electric and Interior
Concepts.
Last October, the company announced it had closed its Series
A round of financing with $6.3 million. Masthead Venture Partners
led the round with $4.5 million, while existing individual
investors contributed the remainder.
The company was founded in 1999 as Navion. |
