    BSG is delighted to announce an executive search placement of Scott Perlman as Chief Financial Officer for Bear Down Brands, a developer and marketer of leading, branded home, health and wellness products.

    THE CANDIDATE:

    Scott has been past President, Operational CFO, and COO for private equity-held, middle market, consumer products companies.  Scott brings extensive experience managing companies with high growth, turnaround, and startups, understanding how to operate a highly leveraged business environment.  Scott has a career of experience in establishing and setting up international companies in China and the U.K.  Recent experience includes driving the sales team to exceed YOY top line sales goals, creating efficiencies in systems and processes, improving margins by renegotiating cost of products from factories and increasing selling price to customers.  Most recently, Scott successfully managed the transaction process, including the legal and due diligence work, culminating in an extremely profitable exit for the company’s PE backers. Scott received his BSBA in Accounting from Boston University.

    THE CLIENT:

    Founded in 2011 and based in Santa Ana, California, Bear Down is a developer and marketer of leading, branded home, health and wellness products. Bear Down has capitalized on the secular shift to e-commerce through its diversified portfolio of humidifiers, air purifiers, personal care products, lunch and food storage, and other products through its three premier brands.
